Our education programs are integral to the innovative work we make: we draw on the expertise of community members, students and educators, their ideas, skill sets, politics and knowledge. These relationships are essential in keeping Back to Back Theatre globally relevant while staying true to our roots.
EXTENDED SCHOOL RESIDENCIES
Residency projects delivered in schools, created in partnership with teachers that explore various artforms.
TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
A series of professional development workshops for teachers, co-led by Back to Back Theatre artists with disabilities.

OPEN WORKSHOPS for Schools
Tailored, inclusive workshops for students in both mainstream and specialist schools. This may be in direct response to curriculum requirements, or complementary and extended beyond the curriculum.
WORK EXPERIENCE for Students
Working closely with the student and their teacher/carer, we provide a supported work experience program for students interested in a deeper experience with the company.

TEACHER PD AND STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES
CAMP 2026 took place on 21–22 March. We’ll share more about CAMP 2027 soon.
CAMP is open to both teachers and students, making it a great chance to develop skills, share ideas, and experience the creative process behind performance.
